Competition Rules
The competitions will be played in sections. The top team in each section will qualify for the knockout stages of the High Road. The second placed teams in each section will qualify for the knockout stages of the Low Road. Teams will be notified if changes to the system of play has been made.
All section games will be 6 ends. 2 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. In the knockout stages if teams are tied extra end(s) will take place to find a winner.
Ranking will be determined by Points, Ends, Shots up, and then shots scored. If teams are still tied on this then a single draw shot will determine ranking and qualifiers.
Points will be awarded as follows: High Road; First – 12 points, Second – 9 points, Third – 8 points, Fourth – 7 points, losing Quarter finalist – 0 points, Low Road: First 6, Second 5, Third 4, Fourth 3. Section games won – 2 points and 1 point for a draw.
As is customary; prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up of both the High Road and the Low Road.
Teams are allowed two substitutes throughout the competition and one of these could be of the opposite gender. A substitute/player may be able to play for more than one team at any weekend.
