2011/2012 Points Competition
Sunday the 22nd of January saw 12 members of the club engage in the annual club points competition. In a closely fought event Douglas Murray proved victorious in the Scratch Competition with 31 points. In the Handicap competition Craig Montgomery produced some excellent shoots to win with 33 points.

2011 Dalgety Bay Curling Club Pairs

Well that was fun for us all wasn’t it!!

Firstly thanks to all that made it through the snow, ice and diversions this morning. A shortage of glue makers and French butchers meant that Douglas and Pam were stuck on the M90 for most of the duration of the competition.

The eventual winners were Alan and Karen who held off a valiant challenge by Iain and his excellent ringer Cameron (who played a storm out there today). Alan and Karen won the high Road final 6-1

The low road final was a closely contested affair with Leslie and Brenda besting Eric and Margaret by 2-1.
